LCC International University seeks a Business Administration Department Chair with energy, creativity and vision

LCC International University offers this excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in program development. We are looking for someone who has energy, creativity, and vision for continuing to build on the strong foundation of LCC’s largest academic department.

Position: Full-time position as Chair of Business Administration Department

Start Date: August 1, 2009 (length of commitment negotiable)

Responsibilities
  • provide leadership for the Business Administration department, ensuring overall program excellence
  • recruit faculty for the Business Administration department
  • teach several undergraduate Business Administration courses per year
Qualifications
  • PhD in Business Administration or related field
  • aollege teaching experience required
  • administrative experience preferred
  • leadership and team-building skills required
  • commitment to liberal arts education within the international context of LCC

LCC International University is an accredited, BA granting Christian liberal arts university located in Klaipeda, Lithuania, an EU member state since 2004. LCC seeks to engage students in a transforming educational experience in order to create a generation of leaders for Eastern Europe and the EU new member state who think critically, promote democratic ideals, develop a market economy, and rebuild the network of civil society within the context of a Christian worldview. The university currently offers four majors: Business Administration, English, Theology and Psychology. English is the language of instruction. Students are from Lithuania, and more than 20 countries of East-Central Europe, and the states of the former Soviet Union. Current enrollment is 600.
