counseling services LCC seeks to be a supportive place for students and encourages quality, caring relationships. Despite that, students may experience challenges that can hinder academic success or personal growth. Students may find the help of a trained counselor beneficial in meeting those challenges. Trained counselors at LCC are available by appointment to discuss any issues and help students find ways of dealing with the challenges they face. All counseling sessions are confidential. Counseling Services offers workshops and seminars on topics of common interest to students.

LCC Student Counseling Services believe that counseling is a partnership of experts aimed at helping the students make their own best decisions. For successful partnership, the student's cooperation and input optimize help and serve as enablers of student's own wholeness.

computer labs There are two computer labs at LCC which consist of over 40 computers terminals with access to Microsoft Office Professional 2000. The labs have access to the Internet at 640 Kbps.

A computer screen projector is available for classroom use. A network laserprinter is accessible to any computer in the lab. Students are responsiblefor the cost of printing documents.

Computer Lab Hours The computer labs are open to students during these hours:
Monday to Thursday - from 7:30 to 21:00
Friday - from 7:30 to 19:30
Saturday - from 13:00 to 17:00
Sunday - CLOSED

There are exceptions to the above times, based on when a lab is in usefor academic classes. These times vary semester by semester. Hours are posted each semester.
